Classical Guitar: Technique and Musicianship DVD coverIn this DVD, Mr. Hand explores the fundamental principles of classical guitar technique, such as posture, relaxation, fingernail shaping, and the correct application of the free and rest strokes. The 75-minute DVD includes John Dowland's "Lady Hunnsden's Puffe," a dance by Gaspar Sanz, and Hand's own "A Celtic Tale," "Heartsong" and "Lesley's Song."

Classical Guitar: Seven Easy Pieces DVD cover The seven works taught on this DVD are among the best-known student pieces. Mr. Hand deconstructs each piece, pointing out possible trouble spots and sharing important tips on technique and interpretation. He demonstrates such elements as ornamentation; slurs; rhythmic and melodic subtleties; timbral shadings; and the importance of correct plucking strokes.
